The Committee members discussed the
following bills: on advocacy (Reg. No. 1430); on amendments to the Law "On
Advocacy" (re system of advocatory self-government) (Reg. No. 3549); on amendments
to the Law "On Advocacy" (new version) (Reg. No. 4353); on amendments to the Law "On
Advocacy" (Reg. No. 4353-1).
The bills regulate the advocatory relations, set the legal principles of advocatory and advocatory self-government in Ukraine.
The People´s Deputies believe that the applicable Law "On Advocacy" requires considerable improvement in part of the legal ethics, examination for the right for counseling, infliction of disciplinary penalties on the legal advisers, etc.
